Description: Stun could be spotted a mile away, were it not for the fact he keeps himself well hidden from public eye unless he really has to do something. His appearance in the ring is as shown in the accompanying picture (yes, those spikes are metal), his actual presence in the ring quite intimidating. Not only is his appearance mostly inhuman, but the bluish-purple 'skin' all over his body is in fact a natural body armor, like the exoskeleton of a cockroach only slapped around his body. His eyes belie his human intelligence, though his voice when it comes out is a ruined hissing mess. A tortured soul to end all tortured souls, he knows what he is and despises it.

His beast form is that of a big blue beetle, with massive width as well as height, as well as a large horn on his forehead and a pair of working insect wings hidden under a layer of movable armor.

History: Stun was once a brilliant scientist that went by the name of Steven Goldberg. His field was in the research of DNA, and such was his skill that he was hired by the Pharmaceutical company Tylon as one of their supervisors in experimentation. He toiled away and many of the breakthroughs that Tylon used were because of him. In fact, most of the work based around Factor B, a DNA string found in Zoanthropes was based around what he had discovered. He was happy… but one thing bothered him.

There was another scientist working for Tylon under him, a wiry, slippery man by the name of Busuzima. Stun discovered that Busuzima was taking all of Steven's work and putting it into practical experimentation, capturing humans and Zoanthropes and performing bizarre and grotesque experiments on them in his own lab. Not wanting his work to be abused in such a way, Stun reported what the rogue doctor was doing to his own supervisor.

It was during this report that Stun would discover just how deep the corruption ran. Tylon had been funding Busuzima's side work the whole time, and even had been the ones who had supplied the lab! Stun had just revealed he knew too much, and as such he was to be dealt with. Death would have been a blessing compared to what he received. He was sent to Busuzima's lab, and became another experiment for the vile doctor's madness.

Busuzima did not waste anytime, and with cruel glee put one of Stun's own theories into practice. Using the very methods that had been hypothesis, Busuzima turned Stun into a new species of Zoanthrope… a cross of both human and insect forms. Stun's body was wracked with pain and suffering as the two sides rejected each other, insect and humans having nothing in common. His body was killing itself, tearing itself apart. It was by Busuzima's 'grace' that he lived, as the mad doctor concocted a way to keep him alive by using a serum that took human hormones in a great amount, the only extraction method being fatal to those it was performed on. Stun was forced to watch not only as Busuzima 'saved' him, but also as his other experiments and theories were put into practice with callous and selfish disregard for the sanctity of human life.

Eventually, Busuzima's experiments were halted for a time when Tylon was destroyed, and Stun went into hiding, with the last samples of the serum that Busuzima had made before he'd fled. Busuzima and a clone of the ex-Tylon Assassin Long named Shen-Long had started the Beasts' Liberation Army. Stun was informed of this development by a woman he had known during his human days, the only friend he had left. This woman, an international spy named Jenny, told him of what was happening, and told Stun where he would have to go if he decided to pursue the one who had so mutilated and cursed him before leaving again. Thinking it over, Stun took into account the fact that Busuzima had not been punished for his crimes, and also the fact that the serum he had left was running out fast. It didn't take long for Stun to decide, and he set out to make Busuzima pay before he died.

Stun did get his hands on Busuzima, though not without great difficulty. Since last they'd met the mad doctor had infused himself with all he had learned from the previous experiments and become a chameleon Zoanthrope. Stun was forced to fight not only his personal pain, but also Busuzima's new form's powers and the trickery they carried with them (camouflage and long tongue anyone?). It was with a terrifying roar Stun became his own beast form, and left the madman beaten half to death, but alive. To top it all off, other Zoanthropes had come, and helped bring about the movement's defeat. Busuzima's plans had ended in ruin; Stun's revenge was complete.

Stun lived day by day once more, awaiting the end of the serum and the painful end of his life. It did not come however; as the events of the Mark of the Beast came around, a man named Xion causing a chain reaction that gave select Zoanthropes an increase of power. Stun bore this mark like others, and although his body became more powerful and stopped dying, the pain became almost mind numbing. Once more his thoughts wandered to suicide, and once more Jenny appeared. She once more told him of a place he should be, and of a man who was killing other Zoanthropes bearing the mark. Knowing full well the mark was a curse, and that no one had a right to kill anyone for having something they did not want, Stun set out to stop Xion.

Stun did not succeed, though he did once more defeat Busuzima, and force him to fight against Xion (which also failed) along with the others. During this fight, Stun's mind was assailed by darkness, as creatures called Unborn reached out to him. The Unborn called to someone who was such a violation of the laws of order in the universe as they were, a creature that should not have been but was. Before Stun could act like a conduit to them as Xion was to be to release them into the world, Xion was defeated and the Unborn energy that had driven him mad was sealed inside the very one who had brought about the defeat.

It was during the time of a tournament amongst the Zoanthropes set by Zoanthropic 'royalty' that Stun next appeared, for more powerful than before and seemingly having stopped his body's degeneration. The truth of the matter was that he had been taken by an off-shoot of the remnants of Tylon, who had attempted to improve upon Busuzima's work and make Stun into their own personal weapon. It was ironically due to Stun's new genetic makeup that his brain could not be completely wiped, and for their folly the entire group involved were destroyed when Stun went berserk. He took part in the tournament, barely able to remember who he was or what he was doing, and in a fit of rage attacked Jenny outside of a fight. With help from the Zoanthrope Gado Stun was subdued and his memories eventually returned. Feeling shame for his actions he helped Jenny with her work, and her attempts to capture Xion. For all his power though, Stun could not subdue the Unborn Zoanthrope, and Xion remains a free spirit.

Eventually Stun left Jenny, as he felt a pull towards Anime Island. Xion was there, fighting in a federation known as the UCTF, and was not the only Zoanthrope. But there had to be something else. As he tried to figure out why more and more Zoanthropes were coming to the island, he enlisted his services to Xion's cause, and upon it being suggested, joined the UCTF as a fighter to earn his keep.

Additional:Stun enters with eyes firmly set on the ring to the tune of "Beast" by KMFDM, trying to ignore all the faces and their reactions to his form.

Big and armored, his speed is still faster than that of a regular human in his 'normal' mode, although most fighters in the UCTF with their 'above normal' status would find him slow enough to take advantage of.

Stun offers no pity for anyone he faces, though he will not kill, and is just skilled enough in his fighting to turn a fatal blow into a near-fatal one. Many forget that there's a very intelligent man behind that deformed face, and find himself hit with some things they didn't expect.

Finally, in his beast form Stun is faster, can jump higher, and to top it off by using his wings he can fly for a few seconds, covering ground faster than on his plodding feet.

Moves:

Stun's moves rely on his brute strength and his rather surprising technical ability, and has become quite good at some of his moves to the point where they can be performed in both forms, though when a move can only be performed in one form, it will be noted.

Standard Attacks:

Vermin Blow: Stun rears back with one arm and lashes out in a swipe, sending his opponent flying across the ring should he connect it. A battle ready opponent can see this moving coming a mile away, but a dazed opponent falls easy prey to this attack.

Assault Slash: A quick hand chop across the chest of his opponent, almost Ric Flair style. What makes this move worthy of note is the fact Stun's fingers are sharp pointed, and the fact his hands are always armored in both forms also makes it dangerous.

Body Slasher: Stun takes one large step forwards and drops down one of his hands in a hard overhead chop that strikes three times on the way through. The first hit glances across the head on either side, the second down hard on the opponent's shoulder on either side, the final keeping the motion going as he slashes his claws across his opponent's chest like a line of dagger points. Like Vermin Blow, this one can be seen coming, as Stun gathers some of his own energy to put into the attack.

Shell Tackle: Stun gets himself a running start, and then drives his shoulder into his opponent (either one, sometimes the spike covered one to be real nasty), an attack that could floor just about anyone if they don't see it coming.

Flying Head Crusher: Either by just jumping or by coming off the top rope, Stun nails his opponent right on the head with both hands clasped together. Its name isn't an exaggeration.

Dual Solid Kick: Another move with a running start, Stun drops low, kicking out both feet as he comes close to opponent, landing on his back and with any luck taking his opponent right out at the ankles. A little surprise for anyone expecting a shoulder tackle.

Jumping Bug Kick: Like the Flying Head Crusher, Stun can perform this move either from jumping or from the top rope. Essentially this move is a drop kick to the face, proving that those muscles on his legs aren't just for show. In beast mode, this move can actually send an opponent hurtling across the ring, and with wings there's no need for the turnbuckle to get some insane air off it either.

Bio Shock: Stun rears back with his hand in a chopping motion, but instead of chopping his opponent he slams his hands into the ground and releases a built up explosion of electricity to shock and disorient his opponent.

Charge Bug Head (Beast Form): Flapping his wings and hurtling into his opponent, this move would be called a spear, except the only thing spearing anything is Stun's horn as it smashes into the gut of the unfortunate victim. Actual penetration of the horn into flesh is unlikely, but not impossible.

Bug Press (Beast Form): Jumping up high and coming down on winged speed, Stun falls with arms and legs outstretched slams his entire body weight into his opponent, sending both of them to the ground with Stun on top in a pinning position. He can also perform this move while his opponent is lying on the ground.

Combo attacks:

Shell Rush Guillotine: Stun hits his opponent in the face with one hooking punch, follows with the other fist in a similar, and then with the first hand delivers an uppercut to the chin that sends his opponent into the air. As they sail up, Stun flips into the air, somersaulting and dropping onto his opponent's chest with a heel, sending them careening to the floor.

Shell Slasher: To start this move, Stun delivers a hooking punch to the face like in the Shell Rush Guillotine, but instead of another punch he follows up with a high knee to the chin of his opponent. While they're still reeling, Stun uses the same hand he punched with to chop from one side at the shoulder to the other side of the body at chest height, and then returns the arms back to his side after delivering a backhand chop with it.

Throws:

Crying Throw (Human Form): Stun grabs his opponent and throws them over his shoulder, then falls backwards, his opponent landing on either their face or their back, depending on how the person ends up getting themselves positioned trying to struggle (or not trying to struggle) out of the move.

Lightning Mine: Catching his opponent by the top of the head, Stun then brings his clawed fingers down across their face, blinding and disorienting them.

Stun Throw: Another example of Stun's often surprising agility. Performed from behind, Stun begins to perform what looks like a jumping face crusher, but instead of forcing his opponent face first to the ground, his pivots in the air away from his opponent and grabs a headlock on his opponent (head under Stun's arm, their face upwards and their head tilted back), and shifting his body throws his opponent over his hip and to the floor. Blink and you'll miss it.

Stun Bomb: A standard powerbomb, essentially, though Stun releases his opponent one the way down, letting them fall farther away.

Spider Drop: Stun grabs his opponent and puts them in a body slam position while going into a spin. After completing a revolution Stun stays on his feet and releases the opponent, slamming them back first into the canvas.

Hornet Grab: Not a throw per se, but performed thusly. Stun kicks his opponent in the side with one leg, on the off-chance they catch a hold, Stun then brings all his strength to bear by swinging his other foot up and around and catching the opponent on the collarbone with it.

Antler Bomb: Catching a foot, or just taking one, Stun then swings his opponent over his head and to the other side of his body, swinging them in a huge arc into the ground. One good example of Stun's near-ludicrous strength.

Riot Beetle (Beast Mode): Another one of Stun's ramming attacks, with a difference. Snatching his opponent up on his horn, Stun proceeds to ram them into a corner, before laying into them as they're trapped with both gigantic fists at once.

Bug Hack (Beast Mode): Stun grabs his opponent with one giant hand, their face resting in his palm. Then, he starts beating his wings fast, electricity gathering all over his body and running through his opponent. After a time, it becomes so intense the opponent is physically thrown off Stun's palm.

Air Bomber: Another move that has to be seen to be believed. Stun performs this when someone else is in the air, leaping up to meet them. With practiced movement Stun wraps his legs around his opponent's waist (opponent upside down and back facing him) and hooks their arms with his own. From there it's a fall to the ground, Stun landing his opponent on their exposed head and neck (and shoulders, so much is left below him in the throw) and folding them up like a piano accordion.

Spiral Raid: If the other throws at Stun's disposal are impressive, this one almost takes the cake. It starts whenever Stun gets his opponent's foot, either catching a kick or just plain getting in and grabbing it. Regardless, still holding the foot Stun spins and jumps into the air, reaching the apex of his huge jump having thrown his opponent into a position reminiscent of the F5. The move also starts like the F5, only instead of just sending them on their way, Stun keeps his hold on the ankle of his opponent, and still spinning on the way down hurls them into the ground with devastating force.

Stun Crush: Stun hauls his opponent onto his shoulders and performs a Death Valley Driver.

Brain Crush Bomb: Grabbing his opponent from behind by the waist, Stun delivers a horrific looking German Suplex, dropping his opponent down on their neck and shoulders.

Stun Crush/Brain Crush Bomb Combo: One of Stun's throw combos. Stun can link the two moves together, just after hitting the Stun Crush is performed. When the opponent flops forwards onto their back, Stun lifts then up with his arms around their chest, shifts to the waist, and goes from a crouch straight into the Brain Crush Bomb. Against a lesser opponent, this is a finisher, and it's a testament to Stun's ability that even with his incredible bulk he can still hit this combo in beast form.

Finishers:

Dark Sanction Combo (Human Form): It starts with Stun bringing his opponent to the floor face first. He accomplishes this by beginning the motions for an STO, but instead of sweeping his opponent's leg he places his far leg to the small of his opponents back, the other leg coming up to the stomach in a leg scissors hold on the waist as he twists his body. This forces his opponent to slam face first into the ground. Next, Stun releases the hold and grabs his opponent by the back of the head and slams them into the canvas face first again to stun them. After that is achieved, Stun picks up his opponent and delivers a tombstone pile driver without dropping to the knees, without having his opponent wrap their arms about his waist. He simply spikes them HARD into the mat from a standing position, in a motion that would have been a powerbomb in any other setup. The target area, as could be guessed, is the same spots that most of Stun's moves work on during the match: The head and neck.

Boosting Burst (Beast Form): Stun grabs the unlucky victim and spins around on the spot holding them by the head, after a revolution or two he releases his grip and sends his opponent across the ring with tremendous force and into a corner. As his opponent hurtles across the ring Stun lifts off the ground with his wings a blur, before shooting across the ring like a bullet to meet and greet the victim with an bone liquefying charge. Stun steps away, still in beast form and as his opponent stumbles out of the corner just from a result of Newton's laws of physics he delivers a backhand chop to the chest so hard Stun transforms back to 'normal'.

Insecticide (Beast Form): Stun adapted this move more recently, an accidental discovery of his enhanced abilities. In bug form Stun adopts a semi crouch position, fists clenched as he powers up. The resultant energy that quickly kicks up is enough to launch anyone close by up into the air. The moment the opponent is higher in the air than Stun, he launches into the air, repeatedly smashing them into the air with his horn. After reaching a high enough altitude, Stun quickly dashes back to the ground to meet his opponent as the fall. When the opponent comes to about head level with him, Stun releases his beast energy and slams the opponent across the ring with it, the resultant energy blast sending Stun into his 'normal' form.

VTOL Buster (Beast Form): THE finisher. If Stun ever needed to use this move, it would be a dire situation indeed. No one can stand up again from this move because his or her spine would simply be liquid. The move is performed when Stun gets his large hands on his opponent and sets them up in a torture rack submission position. Of course, due to his size the actual 'rack' is on his immense head, pressed against his horn. With his opponent securely held in place Stun spreads his wings and flies straight up in the air as high as he can, before falling back to the ground. Stun lands on his feet, his arms and the speed of the fall bending the opponent's spine far greater than it's ever been bent before, past the breaking point. Then, after regaining his footing after landing, Stun gives the opponent one more tightening of the torture rack before smacking them off his head and to the floor. From there it's elementary.

UCTF History: Stun debuted in a very big way at Cyberslam V alongside another fighter named Zappa. The two ran in and attacked the Grand Champion William Clarke and the Number One Contender Shawn Shane Shields after the two had competed in a gruelling main event. Stun was particularly dominant in the beatdown, levelling William Clarke with a shoulder-block and a powerbomb that almost turned the champion inside out. During the beatdown Xion the Unborn came to the ring and instructed the two fighters on what to do, and setting Shawn Shane Shields up to end his career Stun performed his "Boosting Burst" finisher. William Clarke intervened however and saved SSS, at the cost of himself. William Clarke was hospitalized as a result.

After Cyberslam V the three fighters came down, and Stun got his formal introduction to the booing fans. Xion announced the formation of a stable called "The Trio" and Stun made yet another strong gesture by channelling enough energy through a hand to burn the remains of William Clarke's hat (after Zappa had cut it to pieces) to ashes in second. Although The Trio celebrated their formation with arms raised, Stun's face remained icey cold.

"Though you do not like my appearance, the face I keep hidden you would find even less to your liking" ~ Stun
