Who Are The Trio?
The Trio are as their name suggests three men from different parts of the world. Their names in the UCTF are Xion the Unborn, Stun the Insect and Zappa the Possessed. They have little in common in appearance and even less in common in behavior, but they share simularities in the fact they are powerful, freakish, and very dangerous. They are led by Xion the Unborn, the more veteran UCTF competitor of the three. In fact, Xion was the one who brought the other two into the UCTF. The Trio first appeared together at Cyberslam of 2004, at the end of the PPV where they demolished the final match's two competitors William Clarke and Shawn Shane Shields, hospitalizing Platinum Grand Champion Clarke in the process. It wasn't until the following Massacre that they announced their official name... Just as Xion had stated a month or two beforehand, good things come in threes.
What Do The Trio Want?
The Trio are in the UCTF for one thing and one thing only. Themselves. Xion enlisted Stun and Zappa to primarily aid him in securing himself as number one contender to the UCTF Platinum Grand Championship Title and ensure that nothing got in his way on his path to becoming the next Platinum Champ. Zappa appears to be too single-minded to have any agenda of his own, and Stun appears to be in the UCTF merely to aid Xion... whatever happens should Xion become Champion is unknown. Rest assured it cannot be good for the rest of the UCTF.
About The Trio:
Xion the Unborn:
Xion is the self-proclaimed leader of The Trio. When Xion had at first entered the UCTF he appeared to be a friend of the fans, a real entertainer. Those that dug around the name discovered a man of the same enigmatic name had attempted to bring the world to ruin, but reports on that incident are scarse and barely considered truth. Xion fights fairly and with his own personal fighting style, which is brutal in its execution, to the point that many who fight him are forced to take a week off at the very least to mend their wounds. Arrogant to a fault, Xion has since displayed that his attitude towards the fans and other competitors has merely been for his own enjoyment; be it lapping up the attentions of fans to upset other fighters, to encouraging other fighters he's faced simply so he can set them up to fight him again.
As a Zoanthrope, Xion is able to change from human form to animal form, although no animal on Earth looks like the insectoid monster Xion becomes, with blades on his arms and ankles, and two horrific spines jutting from his back. No one knows what an 'Unborn' is and Xion isn't telling. What is being told is that Xion has one goal in mind. To be Platinum Grand Champion.
It is safe to assume he will stop at nothing to acheive this goal.

Stun the Insect:
A quiet and soft-spoken creature outside the ring, and a terrifying force of destruction inside of it. Stun's first appearance saw him dropping Platinum Champion to the mat with a terrifyingly powerful shoulder block. He would follow up his attack on Clarke with a powerbomb that almost imploded the ring, and then a charge into the turnbuckle that hospitalized the Grand Champion (although the charge was intended for Triple S). Stun, or as his real name is said to be, Steven Goldberg, is a quiet recluse when not fighting and does not fight for the attention like Xion seems to.
Stun, like Xion, is a Zoanthrope. His beast form is that of an insect, although many scientists who specialize in Zoanthrope research have said that such a beast form is impossible, and that Stun's body should have destroyed itself long ago. Why Stun still lives no one knows, and Stun does not talk to anyone aside from his two other companions, apparently only in the UCTF to aid Xion in his goals. As is the norm with this trio, no one knows what price Xion is paying for his insectoid companion's service. One must assume it is quite hefty when it is clear what the man brings to the ring.
Many underestimate Stun's intelligence and believe him to be the token 'big dumb guy'. To speak the truth, Stun is the most intelligent of The Trio, and any who think otherwise may find themselves on the receiving end of a VTOL Buster for their efforts.

Zappa the Possessed:
In the history of the UCTF, there has never been a fighter quite as bizarre as this young Australian man. When seen outside the UCTF, Zappa is regarded as a bit of a fool. He's polite, cowardly, and has a low tolerance for pain and an apparent obsession with finding a woman and settling down. When fighting in the UCTF however, Zappa is almost as violent as Xion, as well as being relentless and cruel in his attacks. Indeed, when Zappa debuted he threw Shawn Shane Shields across the ring by the throat with his teeth.
Zappa is not a Zoanthrope like his two companions, and his name suggests that his change in behavior is due to being possessed by a powerful spirit that for some unknown reason follows Xion's directions. It is hard to tell what the spirit looks like however, as the young Australian is able to summon and control a large amount of specters, all visible to the naked eye and all frightening. It is generally assumed that the strange pale girl that often moves out of Zappa's body is the spirit in question, but this can not be proven.
As said before, Zappa is relentless in his attacks and due to his possessed nature his body can suffer greater wounds than most and indeed seems to put himself in positions that would be for most normal people impossible to bear. His reasons for aiding Xion can only be assumed to be for the sake of bringing pain and suffering to as many people as possible.

The Trio's Theme Song:
The Trio's entrance theme is "Intro" by KMFDM. The Trio will let the first 35 seconds of the song play out before walking out, after the words:
Look who's back,
Here we go again.
A beautiful girl, and some
dirty old men.
Before we continue the task at hand,
Let's go ahead and introduce the band.
The Trio's Movelist:
Stun and Xion Moves:
The Unnatural - Stun puts his opponent into a torture rack hold, then Xion jumps up off the third rope and drops knee-first onto the stomach of the opponent.
Duet of Agony - With the opponent lying on their front, Xion and Stun grab an ankle each, lock their legs around their individual leg of choice and then roll forwards so that they end up on their back and the enemy is swung through the air and onto their back as well. At that point either Stun or Xion can keep the Heel Lock on to their discretion.
Stun Impaler (Finisher) - Xion transforms into his Unborn form and kneels down with his spikes extended behind him at a 45 degree angle upwards. Stun then hoists the opponent up in a powerbomb position and drives him down back-first onto Xion's spikes.
Stun and Zappa Moves:
The Armageddon Device - Stun positions the opponent in a powerbomb position on his shoulders, and then Zappa leaps off the turnbuckle and hits a Bronco-Buster style move. As Zappa's momentum carries the opponent forwards Stun performs a sit-powerbomb and Zappa lands in a sitting position on the face of the opponent.
Upside-Down Cross - Stun whips his opponent against the ropes as Zappa climbs a turnbuckle behind him. Then when the opponent bounces back Stun launches his opponent high into the air with a strong backdrop, so strong the opponent actually flips upright while in the air. When this occurs Zappa will have already launched himself high into the air and if all goes to plan connects with a cross body in mid-flight.
Unholy Union (Finisher)- Zappa charges at the opponent, and then slides between their legs while grabbing their arms. As the opponent is dragged head over heels Stun moves forwards and catches the opponent by the waist. With all his strength Stun hoists the opponent up and then slams them down in his own version of the Ganzo Bomb. Zappa meanwhile will have turned himself around, crossing the opponent's arms rendering them unable to protect themselves in the move. The move is performed while Zappa holds on, and he helps the move drop all the harder.
Zappa and Xion Moves:
Ring of Teeth- Zappa latches onto his opponent with his teeth, and throws them up into the air towards Xion. Xion meets them in the air with an Empress Ring.
The Circle of Blades - Zappa tucks himself into a ball as Xion transforms into his Unborn form. Then, Xion grabs Zappa with both hands and hurls him like a projectile at the enemy with some heavy spin on the throw. As Zappa hurtles through the air he summons his bloody sword spirit, which matches his spinning motion to make Zappa like a giant buzzsaw.
Engage Choke (Finisher) - Zappa lies down on his stomach, and Xion Engage Chokeslams the opponent onto Zappa without performing the explosion part to finish it. Then, Zappa's body folds around the opponent locking on a choke submission with his legs around his opponent's neck while his arms wrap around the opponent's waist.
Triple Team Move (Finisher):
The Third and Final Act - Zappa and Xion climb up onto the turnbuckle and stand themselves on the top rope. Stun picks up the opponent and gives them to the other two so that the opponent is facing between the two. Zappa and Xion hold their closest arm across the far shoulder of their opponent, putting the opponent's closest arm over their closest shoulder (like a Rock Bottom). Stun then moves between the legs of the opponent standing facing away from the corner and readies a powerbomb position. As one all three fighters jump, Zappa and Xion delivering their slams with the momentum of Stun's powerbomb. The opponent generally lands on the head, neck and upper back first.
